The latest findings from the AVI CHAI Foundation in Israel is astonishing. The study was done in 2009. The findings are only being published now due to the passing of the head of the research team, Prof. Asher Arian.
Although 46 per cent of respondents defined themselves as secular, it turns out that this self-definition is not directly linked to a belief in extraordinary forces and in the veracity of the Jewish religion.
Apart from the fact that four of five Israeli Jews believe in God, the study’s findings revealed that 77 per cent are convinced that the world is guided by an “extraordinary force”, 72 per cent believe that praying can improve a person’s situation, 67 per cent are convinced that the Jews are the chosen people, and 65 per cent think Torah and mitzvot are a divine order...more…

Here’s how we got where we are: Obamacare includes within its massive delegation of power to the federal government the authority to define what constitutes “preventive services” that must be covered by all health-insurance plans sold and purchased in the United States, including plans sponsored by employers. Because of this fact, despite all of the grandeur, the ugliness and scars of the curse are also present. John describes for us a time when this will no longer be the case. We read last time the Apostle Peter’s description of a renovation of the present atmosphere surrounding this earth, and the very surface of the earth itself by fire. One-in-Five Adults Would Miss the Birth of Their Own Baby to Go to the Super Bowl

What would you miss or give up in order to go to the Super Bowl?
Fifteen (15) percent of U.S. adults who have a favorite NFL team would miss the birth of their own baby to attend the Super Bowl, according to a poll conducted by Harris Interactive.
Another 19 percent would miss the funeral of a loved one, 20 percent would miss the wedding of a close friend or family member, 21 percent would miss an important work responsibility and 23 percent would give up a vacation in order to watch the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis will be the premiere sporting event of the year for 40 percent of Americans, according to the poll. Other statistics:
– 56 percent of adults say they plan to watch the Super Bowl. Men are much more likely to watch the Super Bowl this year at 67 percent, compared to 46 percent of women...more…
