Former Counterterrorism Bureau chief tells ‘Post’ that jihadist organizations seeking to attack Israeli, Jewish targets overseas. Israelis and Jews around the
world are under increasing threat from Islamic terrorists and need to demand that local authorities provide better security, former Counterterrorism Bureau chief Brig.- Gen. (res.) Nitzan Nuriel said Monday, hours after a gunman killed four people outside a Jewish school in France.
Nuriel told The Jerusalem Post that a “Jihadist coalition” of organizations has made a decision to attack Israeli and Jewish targets wherever they may be and without distinction. “They attack whoever they can and wherever security is lax,” he said.
Iran and terror groups are trying to deter Israel from taking action against them by carrying out these attacks overseas, according to Nuriel, who stepped down from his post...more…

Israeli President Shimon Peres has warned that a written peace agreement on Jerusalem will cause a world war, stating that there is now defacto peace in Jerusalem where people pray, live and work together peacefully, but putting that into writing could cause a world war to break out.
Israeli Knesset member and former Chief of Staff for the IDF, Shaul Mofaz says that the prospects of war is inevitable if through diplomatic moves, the UN declares a Palestinian state based on its own unilateral definition of its borders, this also would cause a major conflict in the region.
As world leaders work at bringing resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the peace process, the whole process seems to be moving closer to a major conflict breaking out in the region. ..more…

Photos posted to the Internet in China last week seem to confirm that the Chinese Navy has installed arrestor gear and other vital equipment on its refurbished Soviet-made aircraft carrier, the ex-Varyag. If genuine, the installations could represent a big step forward for the first-ever seaborne, fixed-wing aviation capability for the People’s Liberation Army Navy.
One image appears to show a traditional four-wire arrangement on the aft flight deck of the roughly 1,000-foot-long carrier. Another depicts a small tractor of the type used to move aircraft around the deck...more…

President Obama signed an Executive Order for “National Defense” yesterday that claims executive authority to seize all US resources and persons, including during peacetime, for self-declared “national defense.”
The EO claims power to place any American into military or “allocated” labor use.
“American exceptionalism” is the belief that a 200+ year-old parchment in the National Archives has magical powers to somehow guarantee limited government from 1% tyranny, despite the specific and clear warnings of the US Founders, despite world history of repeated oligarchic/1% tyranny claiming to be for the “good of the people,” and despite US history’s descent into vicious psychopathy hidden in plain view with paper-thin corporate media propaganda.
I don’t know about you, but both my grandfathers were in the US military during the gruesome WW1. My father, father-in-law, and only uncle were in a brutal WW2. Both wars were functions of colonialism; a 1%’s vicious and rapacious greed.
Now, we’re all looking at WW3 that includes official policy and dark rhetoric for US first-strike use of nuclear weapons on Iran. God had the prophet Isaiah condemn the people of Israel for their religious practices although many of these practices had been ordained by God Himself. He had tried to show them how to live holy lives, but they had created a set of rules that emphasized form over substance. He desired a relationship with them, but their rules taught that external behavior was everything; the internal motive of their hearts was ignored.
Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.” (Isaiah 29:14)
Isaiah hinted at a coming Messiah who would teach the people what love is all about. And when He came, what did the Messiah say about their religion? All of Matt 23 is devoted to His condemnation of their “form without substance” religious practices, saying they actually prevented people from entering the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 23:13).
