Washington tightens financial vise imposed on Islamic Republic over nuclear program. New order effectively blacklists all Iranian financial institutions under US jurisdiction.

US President Barack Obama ordered on Monday new sanctions against Iran, including its central bank, seeking to tighten the chokehold on Tehran’s economy as a nuclear showdown deepens.

Obama signed an executive order implementing parts of a new sanctions passed by Congress late last year. The measures block all property and interests of the Iranian government, the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) and all Iranian financial institutions that come within US jurisdiction.

Previously, US institutions were required to reject, rather than block, such Iranian transactions. The measures, passed with wide majorities in Congress last year, also included a requirement for Obama to impose sanctions on foreign financial institutions that do business with the CBI or other Iranian finance firms...more…

Leak Indicates Israeli Attack on Iran ‘Certain’

Last week in his Washington Post column, David Ignatius wrote that Israel was preparing to attack Iran to prevent it from being able to build a nuclear bomb.

According to his Post opinion page colleague Charles Krauthammer, based on the source behind Ignatius’ claim it is likely an attack will occur. On this weekend’s broadcast of “Inside Washington,” Krauthammer explained his thought process.

“I think it’s fairly certain the Israelis are going to attack or you would not have had this leak, deliberately coming this week from secretary of Defense through David Ignatius of The [Washington] Post saying that he thinks there is a high likelihood Israel is going to attack, and then he went ahead and specified when. He said three months, April, May or June. And you don’t say that unless there is obviously indications from the Israelis that they are going to do this even if they get and they are getting a signal from the United States not to do it.”..more…

Obama Vows to Work With Israel to Prevent Iran From Becoming Nuclear Power

U.S. President Barack Obama said on Sunday that the United States will work with Israel to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power, signalling that a diplomatic resolution to the current crisis is still possible.

In an interview with the NBC television from the White House, Obama said both the United States and Israel, which is “rightly” concerned about Iran’s nuclear program, believe that “Iran has to stand down” on the current standoff.

When asked if Israel is determined to attack Iran, Obama said he didn’t think that Israel has made such a decision, adding that the United States and Israel will work “in lockstep” on dealing with the Iranian nuclear issue. “I will say that we have closer military and intelligence consultation between our two countries than we’ve ever had,” he said...more…

Iran Air Force Ready to Counter Threats

Top Iranian military commander Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi says Iran’s Army Air Force (IRAF) is fully prepared to counter any potential threats against the country.

“[Iran’s] Army Air Force is ready to identify any [kind of] aggression and counter them,” the deputy Chief of Staff of Iran’s Army said on Saturday.

The Iranian commander said during recent years the IRAF has identified and landed unknown aircrafts which entered Iran’s airspace.

Iran Warns World of Coming Great Event

Amid crippling sanctions over its nuclear weapons program, Iran is continuing to prepare itself for war against the West, and now is warning of a coming great event.

“In light of the realization of the divine promise by almighty God, the Zionists and the Great Satan (America) will soon be defeated,” Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian supreme leader, is warning.

Iran Working on 10.000 KM Range Missile

Iran was working on developing a missile with 10,000 km range that would put America in reach of a potential Iranian attack.

This is information made available by Strategic Affairs Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Thursday.

According to Ya’alon, the missile was based on a solid fuel propellant and would have been able to significantly increase Iran’s offensive capabilities. Last month, a mysterious explosion rocked an Iranian missile base near Tehran where Iran was working on developing this long range missile.

It should not come as a surprise to anyone, that the Ayatollah wants to nuke America.

The US is in the eye of the Iranian leadership the ‘Great Satan”. The reason is the American support of the “lesser Satan”, the state of Israel.

US Nuclear Sub Heads Towards Persian Gulf

Following the announcement that a third US aircraft carrier, the USS Enterprise, would be heading to patrol waters near the Strait of Hormuz in March, it has also been revealed that the nuclear submarine USS Annapolis and the destroyer USS Momsen are also likely to heading towards the Persian Gulf in the build up to a possible attack on Iran.

“Two ships of the US Navy, the nuclear submarine USS Annapolis and the destroyer USS Momsen have passed through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea. Although their destination is confidential, they are now getting dangerously close to the Persian Gulf,” reports RT, citing Interfax News Agency.

With the likely destination of the two ships being the U.S. Fifth Fleet area of operations, they will be joined next month by the USS Enterprise, the third aircraft carrier to be stationed in the region along with the USS Vinson and the USS Abraham Lincoln. The US also has a 15,000-men force deployed in Kuwait comprising of an expeditionary marine battalion and an amphibious landing group. Clues to the Timing of Ezekiel 38-39 and Other Insights

Following the announcement that a third US aircraft carrier, the USS Enterprise, would be heading to patrol waters near the Strait of Hormuz in March,  I was immersed in serious Ezekiel 38/39 study into the wee hours this morning when new insights began to emerge that I’d not noticed previously.

Firstly, Ezekiel is the only prophet recorded in the Holy Bible to which God directly revealed the details about “Gog, of the land of Magog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him.”

None of the other prophets – Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel or Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi wrote so much as a single prophetic word about Gog of Magog. Zippo, Nada, None. The fact that the angel Gabriel said nothing to Daniel about Gog of Magog speaks volumes in my opinion. What do you fear?  What do you dread?  Fear and dread are paralyzing.  These emotions can and do, at times, stop us in our tracks.   We sometimes cannot do what we know we should because or fear and dread.  Our will and our resolve can melt like wax, especially at times when we try to be faithful or obedient to our LORD. Fear and dread keep many from a full and healthy relationship with GOD.

The Bible has many examples of people who, succumbed to fear and dread.  When they let themselves be overwhelmed by these emotions they betrayed themselves and were not faithful or obedient to GOD.

Moses had been gone for some time. Aaron was the focus of the Israelites complaining.  Fear and dread worked their way over Aaron until he yielded to ungodly demands to fashion an idol.  Fear and dread enabled Aaron to be unfaithful to his GOD and his people and even himself...more…

Is it our daily practice to seek a fresh revelation of Him? So many times the doctrinally orthodox community tends to ignore, if not reject, the notion that a believer can fellowship with Christ in the realm of the spirit with a surprising intimacy. They suggest that it is enough to embrace the foundational truths of the faith, but they make no mention of pursuing the very face of Jesus through fasting, prayer, and seasons of deep and penetrating Scriptural meditation. IDF Holds Military Exercise Under Missile Fire

Amid predictions that Israel will come under massive missile fire in a future war, the IDF’s 162nd Division held a first-of-a-kind exercise on Tuesday aimed at ensuring that the draft of reservists will not be disrupted by attacks.

The drill was held at division headquarters and at its various emergency storage centers throughout the country that hold equipment for reserve units.

“In the past we fought wars that did not involve the home front. We understand that the next war will be different and that during the draft we will come under fire – in the cities and in the induction centers as well,” explained Brig.-Gen. Agay Yehezkel, commander of the division.
