Almighty God Calls Out To You!

In these increasingly debauched and licentious days, Almighty God calls for all to be saved and delivered from the wrath to come (1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Pet. 3:9). 

Have you received into your heart and life the Savior of the world – the Lord Jesus Christ – as your personal Savior from your transgressions against Almighty God and His righteousness?

Halloween… Should I or Shouldn’t I

What is Halloween?  Should Bible believing Christians participate in Halloween activities such as “Trick or Treat” and dressing up in costumes?  Is it really a big deal, or are some Christians just fanatic party-poopers?  After all, which of us don’t have wonderful memories of great childhood fun on Halloween?  It’s all harmless and innocent, isn’t it?

A history lesson is essential.  Halloween can be traced back to the ancient religious practices of the pagan Celtics in Ireland and northern Britain.  The main feast day in their religion was at the end of summer, when they believed the physical world and the spiritual world were at their closest point of interaction.  Because the division between worlds was so thin at that time, according to their belief, evil spirits easily “made the jump” into the physical world, rising out of their graves and wandering the countryside in search of their physical homes...more…

Mike Bickle of IHOP-KC Instructs Followers on Contemplative Prayer

In Fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit: 5 Practical Phrases, International House of Prayer leader Mike Bickle gives instructions on how to experience contemplative prayer–which he calls “communing prayer.” Like all Christian contemplatives, Bickle works hard at presenting this as biblically acceptable. He states there is “…a lot of counterfeit mysticism…” Before teaching his Christianese mantra method, he again emphasizes he is not talking about Eastern or Oprah religion.

According to Bickle, “I use sentences, better yet phrases. Eventually on these five phrases I’m gonna give you in a minute, I reduce those to one word…”. There is much throughout this entire video to cause concern.

I am sorry to say contemplative prayer seems foundational to IHOP, which means much deception has occurred, and will continue to occur. As covered elsewhere, Mike Bickle wants Fire Within,  a book promoting the teachings of Catholic contemplatives Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross, to be the “manual for IHOP-KC.”..more…

Today, as the global events and the godless out workings of base (corrupt) man continue at a “breakneck” speed, the stage is being set for the horrific events on the horizon called “The Tribulation Period”, or “The Day of the Lord” (Matt. 24:21-22).

The entire world – including America – will be absolutely oblivious to the realities and dire consequences of events to unfold during that time. Ever since the civilization of Babel (Gen. 11:1-9), the world has basically lived in a godless delusion of apathy and subjective narcissism.

They have willfully rejected the ETERNAL ordinances of Almighty God and their ultimate accountability to Him. As the terrible calamity of 9-11 overtook, shocked and stunned our nation 10 YEARS AGO, so also will be the commencement of horrific events that are due to transpire in that terrible time called “The Day of the Lord.”..more…
